Claxton's Exploration Peated Billy G 9 Year Old is a rare peated Lowland single malt independent bottling from Claxton's Spirits at 50% ABV with a 700ml volume. Distilled and matured nine years in seasoned oak casks, it delivers soft medicinal peat smoke balanced with bright fresh citrus and light floral malt sweetness. The aroma carries damp ash, zesty lemon, wild blossom, mild cereal and polished oak undertones. The palate offers smooth smoke-fresh fruit core, subtle gentle mineral warmth and silky medium texture. It holds a clean lingering finish with crisp citrus brightness and quiet smoky oak depth. Best savoured neat, light dilution softens its peat intensity to reveal unique Lowland floral-smoky malt layers.
