Spey Fumare Cask Strength Batch 3 is a rich smoky Highland single malt distillery bottling at bold cask strength 57.5% ABV with a 700ml volume. Matured in heavily smoked oak casks, it delivers smouldering bonfire peat sweetness balanced with ripe orchard fruit and nutty cereal malt notes. The aroma carries damp ash, baked pear, toasted hazelnut, light toffee and charred smoked oak undertones. The palate offers smooth layered smoke-fruit core, gentle tight wood warmth and velvety full texture. It holds a lengthy lingering finish with bright orchard fruit brightness and profound smoky oak depth. Best savoured neat, light water softens its robust intensity to reveal intricate peat, pear and nutty malt flavours.
