Malt Grain & Cane Ledaig 16 Year Old 2005 is a sixteen-year coastal Islands peated single malt independent bottling by Malt Grain & Kane at 58.7% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, matured fully in ex-bourbon casks for layered sea smoke and dark preserved fruit. Its aroma unfolds with mild coastal peat smoke, dark berry jam compote, light vanilla oak, faint sea salt brine and honeyed cereal sweetness, elevated by full cask strength to deliver dense maritime aromatic depth. The palate offers gentle saline smoky malt upfront, intertwined with rich cooked dark fruit and sturdy integrated oak tannins. It carries a lengthy smoky-salty fruity finish of lingering berry ash, ideal for seasoned peat drinkers with measured water dilution.
