Benromach Peat Smoke 2014/2023 is a peated independent Speyside single malt official distillery bottling, filled at 46% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, matured nine years with lightly smoked malt and ex-bourbon cask finish. Its aroma unfolds with soft smouldering peat, ripe pear compote, creamy vanilla oak, wild heather honey and faint nut cereal spice, balancing gentle smoke with classic silky Speyside fruit brightness. The palate delivers mild saline smoky malt upfront, intertwined with juicy preserved orchard fruit and mellow integrated oak tannins. It carries a medium elegant fruity-smoky finish of lingering stone fruit and faint ash, ideal for peat newcomers to enjoy neat with subtle water dilution.
