BB&R Aultmore 16 Year Old 2006 is an independent Speyside single malt bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd at cask strength 54.2% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, aged sixteen years in hand-selected oak casks delivering bright ripe orchard fruit, soft vanilla toffee and delicate honeyed malt layers. Its aroma unfolds with crisp green apple, poached pear, buttery caramel, light toasted oak and wildflower honey, balanced despite its concentrated undiluted proof. The palate offers vibrant fresh fruit sweetness upfront, woven with gently integrated oak tannins and Aultmore’s signature light, clean malt core. It carries a medium-long creamy finish of lingering apple and vanilla, best enjoyed neat with a tiny splash of water to unlock its layered fruit-forward complexity.
