Old Particular Timorous Beastie's Finest 12 Year Old 2010 is a blended Highland malt independently released by Douglas Laing at 48.4% ABV in a 700ml bottle, matured in soft ex-bourbon casks to showcase gentle floral fruit and creamy vanilla oak. Its aroma unfolds with ripe green pear, honeyed cereal, light vanilla custard, subtle almond nut and faint mountain floral notes without harsh alcoholic heat. The palate delivers mild bright orchard fruit sweetness upfront, wrapped in velvety mellow oak and smooth delicate malt foundation. It finishes soft, well-balanced and medium-length with lingering fresh fruit, an approachable light-style Highland blended malt.
