Glenallachie Single Malt 9 Year Old 2005 for Three Rivers is an exclusive limited Speyside single malt distillery bottling Scotch whisky at 48% ABV in a standard 700ml format, finished in rare Douro Valley wine casks after nine years of primary barley maturation. It delivers ripe dark red berry, golden honey, dried stone fruit, subtle wine tannin and creamy vanilla oak without harsh overpowering spice. Its nose releases dark red berry compote, golden wild honey, dried apricot, mild wine tannin spice, vanilla custard and faint floral herbal undertones. The palate offers rounded velvety fruity sweetness, prominent medium spirit warmth, layered jammy sun-ripened fruit and delicate well-integrated wine cask tannins. It has a long, balanced fruity finish with lingering spiced red berry and soft creamy malt vibrancy.
