Arran Small Batch Kummer Kirsch 100th Anniversary is an Islands single malt distillery bottling Scotch whisky at 46% ABV in a standard 700ml format, finished in ex-Kummer Kirsch cherry brandy casks to mark the kirsch’s centenary release. It delivers bright wild cherry stone fruit, soft vanilla oak, subtle almond and light malty cereal without harsh heavy peat weight. Its nose releases ripe wild cherry compote, fresh almond kernel, sweet malted barley, mild vanilla custard and faint dried floral herbal undertones. The palate offers rounded bright fruity sweetness, prominent medium spirit warmth, layered jammy stone fruit and delicate slow-aged oak tannins. It has a long, balanced finish with lingering cherry fruit and soft nutty malt vibrancy. Enjoy neat at room temperature as a sipping dram, matching dark chocolate and light nutty fruit desserts.
