Old Particular Timorous Beastie's Finest 5 Years Old 2018 is a youthful Highland single malt independently bottled by Douglas Laing at 48.4% ABV in a compact 500ml bottle. Distilled in 2018 and matured five years, it delivers bright fruity malt with soft vanilla and light warm oak spice. Its nose offers fresh orchard fruit, golden honey, ripe pear and subtle sweet vanilla without sharp alcoholic fumes. The palate brings silky malt sweetness, moderate warm spirit heat, soft stone fruit and faint gentle oak spice. It finishes medium-length with creamy toffee and lingering fresh fruit.
