Hazelburn 12 Years Old Sherry Wood is a distillery-bottled unpeated Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 49.9% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, fully matured in premium sherry oak casks. It delivers rich stewed dark dried fruits, plump raisin, baked fig, silky heather honey, creamy milk chocolate, polished nutty oak, subtle candied orange peel and soft clove baking spice. Its inviting aromatic bouquet unfolds with lush sherry fruit sweetness layered over delicate coastal saline mineral notes unique to Campbeltown. The palate offers velvety rounded malt sweetness intertwined with concentrated dried berry fruit, smooth vanilla tannins and mild warm spice, leading to a lengthy elegant finish with lingering honey, raisin and faint maritime undertones. A fruit-forward unpeated malt with prominent sherry influence, it is best savoured neat or with a tiny splash of spring water to unlock its intricate layered sweetness.
