Ballechin 18 Years Old 2023 Release is a rare aged peated Highland single malt official distillery bottling at cask strength 50.9% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, matured 18 years and launched in 2023. It delivers layered smoldering peat smoke, rich dark dried fruit, velvety dark chocolate, polished leather, ripe black plum, refined clove spice and well-mellowed aged oak. Its profound aroma unfolds with soft ash smoke intertwined with concentrated sherry fruit sweetness. The palate offers luxuriously rounded viscous malt balanced by restrained integrated peat and silky aged wood tannins, leading to an ultra-long elegant finish with lingering smoky fruit, subtle tobacco and nutty oak undertones.
