Distilled in 1974 and matured fifty years in blended ex-bourbon and sherry oak casks, it delivers luxuriant buttery cereal sweetness, viscous vintage honey, sun-dried tropical stone fruit, faint antique vanilla and silkily integrated mellow oak spice. Its aroma unfolds with warm cream corn, thick aged golden honey, soft preserved apricot and decades-softened polished oak. The palate carries faint delicate grain sweetness with restrained even alcohol warmth, rounded by velvety ultra-mellow tannins and quiet subtle herbal undertones.
