Distilled in 2009 and matured thirteen years in mixed ex-bourbon and sherry oak casks, it delivers savoury dried fruit, thick honeyed malt, subtle dried stone fruit, light vanilla and layered warm oak spice typical of Craigellachie’s robust profile. Its aroma unfolds with ripe dark orchard fruit, golden viscous honey, preserved apricot and lightly toasted polished oak. The palate balances sweet malt with soft mild alcohol warmth, rounded by smooth mature oak tannins and faint savoury herbal undertones. The clean medium-long finish carries rich fruited caramel, dried fruit sweetness and delicate nutty wood spice.
