Matured in ex-sherry oak casks and released without chill-filtration, it delivers lush dark dried fruit, honeyed malt, nutty spice and velvety sherry tannins without thin watery sharpness. Its aroma opens with raisin, stewed stone fruit, cinnamon and warm sherry wood notes. On the palate, opulent dried fruit sweetness meets smooth balanced alcohol warmth, framed by supple well-rounded oak tannins and faint herbal undertones. The medium finish lingers on preserved berry fruit, light toffee and gentle sherry oak spice.
