M&H Apex Ruby Port Wine Cask is an Israeli single malt crafted by M&H Distillery, bottled at powerful cask strength of 61.8% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. Finished in ruby port wine casks, it delivers rich dark berry jam, plump dried fruit, velvety malt, warm tannic red fruit and deep spiced oak without harsh burning alcohol. Its aroma bursts with blackberry, raisin, red cherry and subtle wine-soaked vanilla. On the palate, luxuriant sweet port fruit balances intense high-proof warmth, wrapped in layered wine tannins and soft roasted oak. The lengthy finish lingers on preserved dark berries, cocoa and lingering wine sweetness. Best enjoyed chilled neat; a tiny dash of mineral water softens its bold fruity cask-strength intensity.
