After standard Irish maturation, the spirit undergoes a secondary finishing period in ex-Caribbean rum casks, layering classic Irish smoothness with rich tropical rum-driven flavours. Its aroma presents soft barley malt, ripe banana, caramelised molasses, subtle vanilla and light dried tropical fruit alongside mild honeyed cereal sweetness. The palate delivers creamy smooth malt, warm brown sugar sweetness, juicy pineapple and gentle baking spice, with none of the harsh bite found in heavier spirits. It carries a medium-long finish of lingering tropical fruit, toffee and faint oak warmth.
