The Ultimate Spirits' Trickster series takes its name from mythological figures who disrupt order and embody opposing qualities: good and evil, destruction and creation, wisdom and folly. It highlights surprising whiskies, such as a young spirit already showing completeness or a high-quality cask that differs from its distillery's usual style.
Release 19 comes from Tomatin, south of Inverness, officially established in 1897, with local whisky-making traditions said to reach back to the era of the Battle of Culloden in 1746. Its distinctly tropical 1976 vintage helped raise its profile in Japan around 2010. The label depicts Mephistopheles from Goethe's Faust, a rational trickster whose negating power complements divine creation.
Fresh youthful fruit and lively acidity are well balanced in this early-blooming, fruity and floral 11-year-old Tomatin.
Nose: Pineapple juice, freshly cut pear, candy apples, wholemeal biscuits and sweet oak, developing heather, green tomato, ale, floral and cereal notes.
Palate: Lemon, lime and citric acidity evoke refreshing ramune soda. Candied citrus peel, green papaya, green kiwi and Granny Smith apple continue the juicy, youthful fruit profile.
Finish: Candy sugar, barley sugar and fruit salad. Citrus peel, grapefruit pith and banana skin add bitterness, with geranium and coconut. The soft finish gradually becomes pleasantly more bitter.

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and Japanese public holidays) after payment confirmation. Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number, which allows you to monitor the status of your shipment in real time. Return & Refund
Since we ship alcoholic beverages, all sales are generally final. We don't accept returns or exchanges just for a change of mind.But if things go wrong—like your bottle breaks in transit or we accidentally send you the wrong one—we've absolutely got your back! Here is how we handle it:
The 7-Day Window
If your item is damaged or incorrect, please reach out to us within 7 days of signing for your package. After 7 days, we unfortunately won't be able to process a return or exchange.
Item Condition
If we sent you the wrong item by mistake, please make sure it stays unopened and in its original condition. (If your item arrived broken, just safely take some clear photos for us instead!)
Refused or Undeliverable Packages
Any packages that are refused by the customer upon delivery, or returned to sender due to an incorrect/incomplete address provided by the customer, are subject to a return shipping and restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund.
In addition, original shipping costs are strictly non-refundable for refused packages. If a package is abandoned or destroyed by the carrier due to a customer's refusal to pay local customs duties, no refund will be issued.
