Distilled in 2013 and matured eight years in seasoned oak, it delivers smouldering medicinal peat smoke balanced with ripe orchard fruit and nutty cereal malt notes. The aroma carries damp ash, baked apple, toasted almond, light toffee and charred oak undertones. The palate offers smooth smoky-fruited core, gentle mineral warmth and velvety full texture. It holds a lengthy lingering finish with crisp fruit brightness and persistent smoky oak depth. Best savoured neat, light water softens its robust intensity to reveal layered peat, apple and nutty malt flavours.
