Artwork Ardmore 25 Years Old 1997 is a rare independent Highland single malt bottled by Whisky Agency & Three Rivers, drawn from a single cask at 50.7% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. Distilled in 1997, twenty-five years of slow oak maturation softens Ardmore’s earthy peat smoke and delivers intricate dried fruit, herbal and aged wood complexity. The nose carries gentle heather peat, candied stone fruit, subtle leathery oak and honeyed cereal malt without harsh fiery alcoholic fumes. The palate balances bright ripe fruit and mild smoky malt, smooth rounded spirit warmth and faint dried herb spice from decades-long cask rest. It holds a soft lingering finish of preserved fruit and faint smoky oak undertones. This ultra-aged limited release works neat or lightly watered, ideal for collectors of scarce long-matured peated Highland whisky.
