Signatory Caperdonich 20 Year Old 2000 is a high-strength independent bottling from Signatory Vintage, distilled at Speyside’s now-shuttered Caperdonich Distillery at cask strength 58.1% ABV with a standard 700ml volume. Two decades of slow maturation builds abundant layered flavours typical of classic Speyside malt. The aroma presents rich dried stone fruits, thick golden honey, dried sultanas, toasted oak spice and subtle floral undertones. The palate delivers concentrated jammy fruit sweetness, creamy honeyed malt, gentle cinnamon and nutmeg oak spice alongside a full-bodied, viscous texture. Its lengthy warm finish holds persistent dried fruit sweetness and lingering refined oak notes, a scarce aged expression from a defunct distillery with profound integrated cask influence.
