Light-to-medium red wine, 750 ml, 11.5% ABV. Pale ruby, with deep, cool aromas of red fruit, fresh strawberry, and conifer forest. Soft fruit and long mineral lines lead to a quiet finish evoking the Sorachi landscape. The Blue Label emphasizes vintage character and mainly uses fruit from the silt parcel; the Green Label emphasizes the YAMAZAKI house style and mainly uses the sandstone parcel. Pinot Noir from 19- to 26-year-old vines at 807 and 709 Tappu, Mikasa, Hokkaido. Whole-cluster fermentation, carbonic maceration, wild yeast, and barrel maturation.
