Claxton's Exploration Invergordon 5 Year Old 2017 is an independent Highland grain whisky bottled by Claxton's Spirits at 50% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, aged five years to deliver sweet vanilla and ripe tropical fruit layers. Its aroma unfolds with ripe banana compote, creamy vanilla custard, light coconut oak, subtle butterscotch and soft cereal sweetness, showcasing bright tropical grain distillate brightness. The palate offers rich caramelised tropical fruit upfront, woven with smooth ex-bourbon oak tannins and a gentle corn grain backbone. It carries a luscious medium-length fruity finish of lingering banana and mild toffee, a limited exploration bottling ideal for neat sipping and creamy tropical cocktails.
