Old Particular Jura 13 Year Old 2009 is an Islands single malt independently bottled by Douglas Laing at 48.4% ABV with a 700ml volume. Matured thirteen years in balanced oak casks, it delivers warm coastal honey sweetness balanced with subtle earthy brine and soft vanilla cereal malt notes. The aroma carries wild heather honey, light sea salt mineral, dried coastal herb, baked grain and gentle vanilla oak undertones. The palate offers smooth layered honey-salty core, mild herbal spice and silky medium texture. It holds a mellow lingering finish with warm honey brightness and faint maritime oak depth. It suits relaxed neat sipping and mild water dilution to highlight gentle coastal herbal layers.
