Arran Port Cask is an Islands‑region single‑malt whisky officially bottled by Arran Distillery at 50% ABV with a 700‑ml volume. It receives finishing inside port‑wine casks after initial maturation, absorbing rich fruity flavours from the wine‑seasoned wood. The aroma presents ripe red berries, plums, floral honey and subtle vanilla‑oak notes. The palate delivers juicy black‑cherry, raisin, sweet‑fruit jam and gentle tannin‑spice balanced by the distillery’s signature fresh‑cereal sweetness. It has a medium‑long finish with lingering dark‑berry and warm‑oak sweetness. This official bottling can be enjoyed neat or with a small splash of water to reveal deeper fruit‑forward layers.
