Isle of Harris The Hearach Oloroso Single Malt is a distillery-bottled Islands single malt whisky matured in Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 46% ABV in a 700ml format. This official release captures the rugged coastal character of the Isle of Harris balanced with rich Oloroso sherry influence, weaving briny island maltiness with deep dried fruit opulence. The nose delivers salt-kissed barley, dark raisin, dried fig, polished oak, subtle dark chocolate and a whisper of coastal heather smoke. On the palate, it is medium-full and beautifully balanced, featuring sweet cereal malt, concentrated sherry fruit compote, soft sea mineral salinity, warm cinnamon spice and velvety tannins from the Oloroso cask. The lengthy, rounded finish marries lingering dried fruit sweetness with gentle maritime smoke, showcasing the distinctive terroir of Scotland’s remote Outer Hebrides.
