Elements of Islay Sherry Cask is a premium sherry-cask matured Islay blended malt Scotch whisky produced by Elixir Distillers, bottled at 54.5% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. Crafted as a rich, fruit-forward peated malt from the core range, it undergoes extended sherry wood maturation to round out sharp medicinal peat smoke and integrate deep dried-fruit sherry-derived richness. The nose offers smoldering coastal peat, ripe dark cherry, subtle dried fig oak and gentle spiced honey sweetness without harsh alcoholic fumes. The palate delivers well-balanced smoky and jammy fruit malt flavours, smooth robust alcohol warmth and faint nutty wood spice brought by long cask ageing. It features a soft lingering finish of smoked raisin and light dark chocolate notes.
