Distilled in 2017 and matured six full years on Islay’s rugged coast, it delivers thick medicinal peat smoke, briny sea salt, ripe dark berry fruit, rich vanilla custard and bold charred oak without diluted softness. Its aroma opens with smouldering coastal peat, sharp sea spray, blackberry jam, warm caramel and heavily toasted wood notes. On the palate, intense smoky brine sweetness meets striking full-proof warmth, framed by firm youthful sherry and bourbon oak tannins and faint seaweed herbal undertones. The lingering finish holds heavy medicinal smoke, dark stone fruit preserve, salty mineral tang and tight spiced oak layers. Best enjoyed chilled neat; a tiny splash of mineral water softens its fierce coastal peat intensity to unlock deep layered Islay character for seasoned smoke lovers.
