Distilled in 2008 and matured for 15 years in selected oak casks, it delivers thick coastal peat, briny sea spray, ripe dark plum and subtle vanilla oak aromas on the nose. Intense smoldering turf, zesty citrus fruit and gentle dark cocoa fill the palate, leading to a lengthy saline smoky finish with lingering mineral and dried fruit undertones. This limited boutique cask release shines neat or with a tiny splash of water to balance its powerful peat and vibrant fruity oak layers for seasoned Islay whisky collectors.
