This coastal Islay bottling delivers the island’s signature smoky character after eight years of cask maturation, balancing robust peat smoke with ripe maritime fruit and seasoned oak sweetness. The nose opens with smouldering medicinal peat, seaweed brine, ripe green apple, smoked citrus and subtle vanilla oak. On the palate, it is well-structured and rounded, featuring earthy peat smoke, saline coastal notes, stewed orchard fruit, honeyed malt and gentle wood spice. The long, smoky saline finish encapsulates classic Islay peated malt charm.
