This sixteen-year-old Jamaican rum boasts classic tropical Jamaican style brimming with rich ester notes rather than smoky tones. Its aroma carries ripe tropical fruits, overripe banana, molasses sweetness and subtle oak nuances from long cask ageing. The palate delivers concentrated fruity esters, thick molasses warmth and gentle wood spice. Its robust high alcohol brings a full-bodied texture, perfectly embodying the heavy fruity ester characteristic of traditional aged Jamaican pot still rum.
