Borges Ruby Port is a Portuguese fortified ruby port at mild 19% ABV in a standard 750ml format, crafted by Vinhos Borges from young Douro Valley red grape varietals. Short-term oak maturation delivers bright fresh red berry, soft plum, mild vanilla and light jammy sweetness without heavy aged oxidative weight. Its nose releases ripe cherry, wild plum, red berry compote, mild honey, light vanilla and faint floral herbal undertones. The palate offers juicy fresh fruit sweetness, low gentle spirit warmth, layered bright red orchard fruit and delicate thin oak tannins. It finishes short, lively and fruity with lingering cherry and soft sweet berry vibrancy. Enjoy lightly chilled neat or paired with tonic, matching milk chocolate and fresh soft goat cheeses.
