Infrequent Flyers Jura 30 Years Old 1994 is an extremely rare 30-year-old Islands single malt independently bottled by Alistair Walker Whisky Company, drawn at cask strength 52% ABV into a standard 700ml bottle. Distilled in 1994 at Jura Distillery and matured for three full decades, it delivers ultra-aged coastal malt character where youthful smoke has softened into rich, layered dried fruit and saline oak depth. The nose unfolds with dried apricot, ripe dark fig, light smouldering heather peat, subtle briny sea salt, honeyed cereal and polished aged vanilla oak. On the palate, jammy preserved fruit sweetness blends with silky rounded malt and moderate elevated alcohol warmth, tamed by 30 years of slow cask maturation that softens all harsh tannins. Its extraordinarily lengthy finish lingers on faint coastal smoke, dried stone fruit, nutty toffee and gentle saline mineral notes; this ultra-long-aged collectible bottling is best savoured neat, with only a tiny splash of mineral water if needed to gently open its concentrated flavours.
