Old Malt Cask Aultmore 26 Years Old 1997 is a rare 25th anniversary Speyside single malt released by independent bottler Hunter Laing, distilled in 1997 and matured for 26 years at 50% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. Extensive slow oak maturation refines Aultmore’s classic coastal Speyside fruity malt into an exceptionally smooth, multi-layered dram. The nose delivers ripe green apple, wild floral honey, subtle saline mineral notes and gentle aged vanilla oak. On the palate, bright orchard fruit sweetness blends with silky rounded mature malt and balanced medium alcohol warmth, softened by polished, delicate oak tannins. The finish stretches long with lingering stone fruit, faint caramel and quiet herbal undertones. This limited commemorative bottling is best savoured neat to appreciate its refined long-aged Speyside complexity.
