The long port cask maturation infuses classic Glenallachie fruity malt with rich layered red fruit and nutty tawny wine complexity. Its aroma unfolds stewed red berry jam, dried fig, roasted walnut, floral honey, ripe apricot and soft spiced oak tannins. The palate delivers concentrated jammy dark fruit sweetness, rounded cereal malt depth, vibrant medium cask-strength heat and velvety port wine tannins that balance the bold alcohol. It finishes long and opulent with lingering dried stone fruit, caramelised nutty notes and slow-fading red wine oak spice.
