Lustau Palo Cortado Península is a rare hybrid Spanish sherry at 19% ABV in a standard 750ml format, crafted by Lustau through partial biological then oxidative maturation. It balances Fino’s bright saline almond with Oloroso’s rich dried nut and soft dark wood spice, zero heavy cloying sweetness. Its nose releases coastal saline almond, dried apricot, roasted walnut, subtle flor grass, polished leather and mild cinnamon oak. The palate offers crisp dry saline brightness, gentle medium spirit warmth, layered nutty stone fruit and delicate slow-aged wood tannins. It has a long, balanced finish with lingering almond, saline mineral and soft roasted nut vibrancy. Served lightly chilled neat as an aperitif, matching cured Iberian ham, olive tapas and mild aged goat cheeses.
