Glenallachie 7 Year Old Hungarian Virgin Oak Finish is a wood-forward Speyside single malt whisky bottled in-house by Distillery Bottling at 48% ABV with a standard 700ml volume. Matured seven years in traditional casks then finished in fresh Hungarian virgin oak barrels, it delivers rich warm vanilla-toast sweetness balanced with subtle baked stone fruit and pronounced spicy oak undertones. The aroma carries creamy vanilla pod, lightly toasted oak plank, soft stewed apricot and faint cinnamon spice notes. The palate offers smooth rounded woody core, gentle vibrant tannin warmth and velvety medium texture. It holds a lingering persistent finish with bright vanilla sweetness and quiet spicy virgin oak depth. Best savoured neat or with a splash of soft spring water, light dilution unlocks its intricate creamy fruit and layered Hungarian oak malt character.
