Distilled in 2009 and matured thirteen years in sweet sherry oak casks, it delivers thick ripe dark fruit sweetness balanced with nutty marzipan and polished warm wood undertones. The aroma carries stewed raisin, baked apricot, mild almond paste, butter toffee and lightly toasted sherry oak notes. The palate offers dense layered fruit core, subtle vibrant tannin warmth and viscous medium texture. It holds an extended lingering finish with deep dark fruit brightness and persistent nutty sherry oak depth. Best savoured neat with tiny water drops, gentle dilution softens its high strength to reveal intricate dried fruit, nut and creamy malt layers.
