Brief oak maturation delivers crisp fresh green orchard fruit, light barley toffee, soft floral grass honey, faint pale oak and mild gentle herbal undertones typical of young Lowland distillate. The nose unfolds with bright pear compote, delicate light vanilla and fresh young barrel sweetness. The palate balances vivid youthful fruit brightness with silky subtle oak depth, faint citrus zest and smooth rounded tannins. Its short lively finish holds lingering fresh grassy fruit and faint light wood herbal whispers. Best savoured neat with a small splash of spring water to temper its high strength and unlock bright approachable young Lowland malt complexity without harsh alcoholic sharpness.
