Manufactured using sugarcane juice and brown sugar collected from local farmers and the eight islands of Okinawa as main ingredients.
The main ingredient is brown sugar, and barley malt is also used, and after vacuum distillation, it is stored in tanks for many years.
Based on the theme of "soft and diverse sweetness," the rich sweetness derived from brown sugar and the layered aroma derived from barley malt have sublimated into a mellow, gentle flavor after years of storage in tanks.
THE ORIGIN is crafted by Shinozaki Distillery in Kyushu‑Fukuoka Prefecture, bottled at 50.0% ABV with a 500‑millilitre bottle. This unaged rum presents a distinctive, multi‑layered aromatic profile rooted in pure sugar‑cane distillate. The nose delivers bright sugar‑cane sweetness, subtle green grassy notes, light tropical fruit hints, faint floral touches and clean, crisp spirit warmth. On the palate, it is powerful yet balanced, showing forthright cane‑juice sweetness, fresh herbal‑grassy undertones, bright fruity accents and solid high‑proof backbone.
