Villa De Varda Amarone Riserva is produced by Villa de Varda Distillery from Italy, bottled at 40% ABV with a volume of 700ml. Distilled from Amarone grape marc, the nose delivers rich dried dark fruit including raisin, dried cherry, prune, accompanied by dark chocolate, subtle dried herbs and gentle oak warmth. On the palate, concentrated dried berry fruit, candied fig and soft tobacco notes unfold, with rounded tannic depth and a smooth medium-full body unique to Amarone grappa. The finish is long and warming, layered with lingering dried fruit and faint spiced wood. Best enjoyed neat at room temperature as a luxurious after-dinner digestif.
