Yamazaki 12 Year Old Japanese Single Malt
Yamazaki 12 Year Old is Suntory's flagship age-stated single malt from Japan's first malt whisky distillery. This 700ml bottle is presented at 43% ABV. Its combination of mature fruit, vanilla and oak makes it a useful choice for buyers seeking a recognised Japanese single malt with a clearly stated 12-year age.
Before ordering, review the product photographs for the bottle, label and packaging condition. Packaging may vary, and only the items shown or explicitly stated in this listing are included.
How It Is Made
Suntory combines malt whiskies matured in American oak, Spanish oak and Japanese Mizunara oak. According to the producer, white-oak-matured components contribute ripe fruit and sweet vanilla, while Spanish oak and Mizunara add depth and complexity. “12 Year Old” is an age statement: every whisky used in the bottle has matured for at least 12 years.
Made at the Yamazaki Distillery, founded in 1923, this expression meets the Japan Spirits & Liqueurs Makers Association standard for labelling Japanese whisky.
