Aberlour Abunadh Batch 70 is a cask‑strength Speyside single malt, released as distillery bottling at 61.2% ABV with a 700‑millilitre bottle. This well‑known series draws flavour exclusively from sherry‑seasoned oak casks. The nose bursts with rich dried fruit, dark cherry, warm cinnamon, clove and thick honeyed toffee. On the palate, bold dried fig and raisin take centre stage, alongside dark chocolate, ginger spice and deep sherry oak, delivering a full‑bodied, powerful mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, brimming with dried fruit and lingering wood spice. Best sampled neat or with a small splash of water to soften its high cask strength.
