The Observatory 20 Year Old is a premium Scottish single grain Scotch whisky produced at Macduff Distillery, presented in a standard 700-millilitre bottle with an alcohol concentration of 40% ABV. Matured patiently for two full decades primarily inside bourbon oak casks, it gains ample time to absorb delicate oak influences and mellow thoroughly. Its aroma unfolds creamy toffee, smooth vanilla, ripe summer berries and subtle polished oak fragrance without sharp alcoholic bite. The palate delivers luxuriously silky texture, layered caramel sweetness, soft stone fruit and mild wood spice, well-rounded and extremely gentle on the palate. It concludes with a long, warm lingering finish of sweet dried fruit and faint oak warmth, an elegant aged bottling ideal for seasoned whisky collectors and leisurely neat sipping.
