It undergoes secondary finishing maturation inside red wine casks after basic ageing, absorbing rich fruity notes from wine wood. It retains Jura’s classic gentle coastal undertones on the nose, paired with ripe red berry, dried fruit and subtle tannin hints from red wine. The palate is smooth and mellow, blending light briny maritime hints, sweet berry fruit, delicate malt sweetness and soft wine-infused oak. It delivers a warm, gentle finish with lingering red fruit sweetness and mild wood spice, striking a nice balance between island style and wine cask charm.
