Distilled on the windswept island of Islay and matured for twelve years in oak casks, this cask strength bottling delivers balanced peated maritime character. The nose brings smouldering peat smoke, sea salt, ripe citrus and soft vanilla oak. On the palate, earthy smoke and coastal brine take centre stage, complemented by dark fruit sweetness and subtle warming spice. It offers a lengthy layered finish with lingering smoky mineral notes and gentle malt sweetness. Best enjoyed neat, with measured additions of water to unlock deeper aromatic depth.
