Signatory Bowmore 25‑Year‑Old 1997 is an Islay single‑malt whisky independently bottled by Signatory at cask‑strength 55.9% ABV with a 700‑ml volume. Distilled in 1997 and matured for 25 years in carefully‑selected single casks, this long‑aged Bowmore is a highly‑collectible limited‑release from Signatory. After a quarter‑century‑long maturation, the intense peat has softened into elegant, refined smokiness. The aroma presents gentle coastal peat‑smoke, sea‑salt, dried‑apricot, dark‑honey, vanilla‑oak and subtle dark‑fruit notes. The palate delivers mellow smoky‑brine, ripe dried‑fruits, milk‑chocolate, caramel and firm well‑integrated oak‑spice with a full‑bodied texture. It has an exceptionally long‑lasting finish with lingering refined peat‑smoke and sweet dried‑fruit.
