Penderyn 17 Year Old 2005 Bourbon Barrel is a rare Welsh single‑malt whisky from Penderyn Distillery, bottled at cask‑strength 59.1% ABV in a 700‑ml bottle. Matured for 17 years inside ex‑bourbon barrels, it delivers rich vanilla, ripe orchard fruits, coconut, honey and toasted‑oak flavours amplified by the high proof. The nose bursts with sweet vanilla custard, ripe apple and warm caramel. On the palate lush fruit sweetness pairs with baking‑spice and charred‑oak notes. It offers a long‑lasting warm finish with lingering toffee and subtle dried‑fruit tones.
