BB&R Caol Ila 13 Year Old 2010 is a thirteen-year maritime Islay peated single malt independent bottling by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 56.5% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, matured in ex-bourbon casks for balanced sea peat smoke and ripe dark preserved fruit layers. Its aroma unfolds with soft smouldering sea peat, dark berry jam, light vanilla oak, subtle seaweed brine and honeyed cereal sweetness, cask strength heightens every delicate maritime smoky aromatic nuance without harshness. The palate offers gentle saline peat upfront, intertwined with rich dark fruit preserve and sturdy integrated oak tannins. It holds a medium-long smoky-coastal finish of lingering sea ash and dark fruit, approachable for peat newcomers with measured water dilution.
