Adelphi Smogen 10 Years Old 2013 is a unique smoky Swedish single malt bottled by Adelphi at strong 58.1% cask strength in a standard 700ml bottle. Distilled in 2013 and matured ten years in mixed bourbon and sherry oak casks, it delivers rich peat smoke, ripe dark fruit, thick honeyed malt, subtle vanilla and warm lingering oak spice. Its aroma carries smouldering peat, ripe berry preserve, golden honey and heavily toasted oak. The palate pairs sweet malt with intense alcohol warmth, balanced by firm mature oak tannins and faint pine herbal hints. The lasting finish holds deep smoky sweetness, dark caramel and gentle earthy spice. A tiny splash of water softens its bold power, revealing distinctive Nordic malt layers for slow contemplative sipping.
