M&H Apex Peated Bourbon is an Israeli single malt produced and bottled by M&H Distillery at a potent cask strength of 58.2% ABV in a 700ml bottle. Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks with peated malt, it balances smouldering soft peat smoke, bright vanilla bourbon sweetness, ripe tropical fruit and warm toasted oak without harsh medicinal ash or cloying sugar. Its aroma unfolds with charred wood, baked banana, gentle peat and creamy caramel. On the palate, bold fruity vanilla sweetness meets intense elevated alcohol warmth, framed by integrated smoky layers and firm bourbon oak tannins. The lengthy finish lingers on lingering peat, vanilla custard and dried stone fruit. Best enjoyed neat at cool temperature; a tiny splash of mineral water softens its powerful smoky-bourbon character.
